LF933-2015 · Fit Reference First

Start with the 13.8 in Bracket-Height Reference, Then Check the 15 in Stroke

LF933-2015 is a 2,000 lb Sidewind trailer jack with a published 13.8 in bracket height and 15 in travel.

Unlike many product pages that lead only with capacity, this SKU is better evaluated from its installed-height reference. GOODIN has not supplied an extended-height value for LF933-2015, so the page does not calculate one.

Bracket-Height Reference

13.8 in Is a Drawing Reference, Not Permission to Calculate an Overall Height

The 13.8 in figure is useful when comparing the jack mounting datum with the target trailer. It should stay attached to GOODIN's bracket-height definition.

Adding 15 in travel arithmetically would produce a number, but not necessarily the correct published extended-height reference. Replacement approval should use the LF933-2015 drawing rather than a derived value.

Sidewind Operating Envelope

Treat Sidewind as a Packaging Requirement, Not Just a Handle Label

The handle orientation determines where the operator needs free space. On a finished trailer, that space can be consumed by coupler hardware, toolboxes, winches, guards or body panels.

LF933-2015's handle radius is not supplied, so the required operating envelope should be taken from the real product or current drawing instead of borrowed from another 2,000 lb jack.

Two-Finish Tube System

Black Powder-Coated Outer Tube, Clear-Zinc Inner Tube

LF933-2015 black powder coated outer tube and clear zinc inner tube detail

The outer and inner tube finishes are intentionally different. That is a real specification distinction and should be preserved instead of simplifying the jack to “black coated” or “zinc plated.”

The finish combination does not establish coating thickness, salt-spray duration or marine certification. Those requirements belong in the purchasing specification if the environment makes them contractual.

Architecture Verification

LF933-2015 Must Not Inherit LF933-2010's Side-Mount Structure by Name Alone

A related GOODIN LF933-2010 model has previously been verified with side-mount swivel hardware, but that is not sufficient evidence for LF933-2015. Model families can change travel, mounting and lower-end construction between variants.

GOODIN'sTrailer Jack Encyclopedia explains the functional differences among common jack architectures. LF933-2015 itself should be labeled only after its own imagery or drawing confirms the interface.

Procurement Verification

Five Drawing-Level Items to Close Before a Bulk Order

  1. Mounting interface: confirm bracket / pipe / flange / A-frame geometry and attachment dimensions.
  2. Height datum: identify exactly where the 13.8 in bracket-height measurement starts and ends.
  3. Working endpoints: obtain the model's actual retracted and extended references instead of deriving them.
  4. Crank envelope: verify side handle radius and interference zones in the finished trailer.
  5. Finish requirement: define any contractual powder-coat / zinc-plating performance separately.
Model-Specific FAQ

Questions That Matter for LF933-2015

Can 28.8 in be used as the extended height because 13.8 + 15 = 28.8?

No. The calculation is arithmetically correct, but the two published dimensions may use different engineering reference points. Use a GOODIN drawing for the actual extended-height value.

Does LF933-2015 use the same side-mount swivel hardware as LF933-2010?

That should not be assumed. The earlier model's structure was separately verified; LF933-2015 needs its own model-specific evidence.

Why does the 13.8 in bracket-height reference matter for fit?

Bracket height establishes an installation datum that must be mapped to the trailer frame. Use the 13.8 in reference together with the 15 in travel requirement and a model-specific drawing; do not calculate an extended height or assume a mounting type from those two values alone.

Is the clear-zinc inner tube a marine rating?

No. It is a finish description. No salt-spray duration or marine certification is supplied.
