Working Position and Stored Position Must Both Clear the Trailer

A compact 6 in single wheel can support coupling and low-speed local alignment on suitable surfaces, but wheel size alone does not determine rolling resistance or turning effort. Check the actual tongue load, floor condition, slope and the distance over which the trailer must be positioned.

A swivel-lock jack is not approved solely by matching capacity and travel. The stored orientation must clear the ground and nearby trailer hardware, while the working orientation must preserve crank and wheel clearance.
