Goodin Returns from Phase 1 of the 139th Canton Fair: Going Global with Innovation, Green Manufacturing, and Smart Solutions
2026-04-24
Fair Overview – Record Scale, Resilient Trade
The 139th Canton Fair (April 15–May 5, 2026) is currently underway in Guangzhou. While the event continues in full swing, the Goodin team has successfully wrapped up its participation in Phase 1 (April 15–19) and returned to base to consolidate data and insights. The Fair features an exhibition area of 1.55 million square meters and over 32,000 exhibitors, surpassing previous records in scale. On the macro trade front, China’s total goods imports and exports reached RMB 11.84 trillion in the first quarter, a year-on-year increase of 15%, highlighting the remarkable resilience of Chinese foreign trade. Centered around the themes of “New Quality Productive Forces, Green & Low-Carbon, and Smart Manufacturing,” the Fair has put over 4.65 million products on display, among which new products, green products, and those with independent intellectual property rights each account for more than 20% — confirming that “New, Green, and Smart” have truly become the new mainstream.
Goodin’s Exhibition Highlights – Winning Trust with Innovative Products and Consultative Service
During Phase 1, the Goodin booth welcomed buyers from more than 20 countries and regions. Eight of our longstanding partners visited to explore the latest product upgrades and expressed strong intentions for repeat orders. Meanwhile, a steady stream of new customers showed keen interest in Goodin’s newest technologies and solutions, leading to in-depth conversations right on the show floor.
Embracing the Belt and Road Initiative, we were delighted to host buyers from Oman, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, and other BRI countries. Through meaningful face-to-face exchanges, many of these buyers scheduled post-fair factory visits, laying a solid foundation for future collaboration.
The star product that generated the most buzz was the all-new LF965-2010B trailer jack. With an impressive 2,000 lbs lifting capacity, it effortlessly meets the demands of most towing applications, even handling the support requirements of large RV trailers with ease. Its anti-corrosion design — a black powder-coated outer tube paired with a galvanized inner tube — not only gives the product a sleek, premium appearance but also significantly enhances durability in coastal and high-humidity environments. This combination attracted a high volume of trade inquiries and partnership intentions.

Buyer Insights – New Forces Rising, Flexible Models Taking Hold
This session registered over 210,000 pre-registered new buyers, a 20% increase year-on-year. These relatively young, digitally savvy purchasers tend to prefer small-volume trial orders and pay close attention to online marketing materials and digital touchpoints. In response to this shift, a “consultative selling” approach is increasingly taking center stage at the Fair — offering lower MOQs and more flexible cooperation models has become essential to building trust with the next generation of buyers.
At the same time, the rapid growth momentum of emerging markets is impossible to overlook. At this Fair, Goodin encountered numerous buyers from the Middle East, Latin America, Africa, and other emerging regions, all showing strong interest in products that deliver high performance, strong adaptability, and compelling value. This points to a further diversification of the global market landscape in the years ahead.

A Wish for Peace – Connecting the World Through Trade, Building a Stable Future Together
In a time of complex global geopolitical and economic conditions, with conflicts in regions such as Ukraine and the Middle East adding uncertainty to international trade, we value every cross-border partnership more deeply than ever. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all of our long-term customers who, despite such a turbulent environment, continue to place their firm trust in Goodin. Through concrete, practical collaboration, we are contributing to the stability of world trade. Striving for a peaceful, secure, and prosperous global trade environment remains our shared responsibility and mission.
